Children role assigned by their mothers in prison based on Argentinean law on the execution of criminal sanction where for children who are 5 five years old and were had in prison maybe because their mothers were pregnant before they were in prison or have them in pris-on the ones called children of prison, it is allowed to stay with their mothers and later they are given to other care givers; children or adult had previously are out of this law, is addressed in this paper. Children receive an ambigu-ous, intermittent and circumstantial positive and nega-tive value during and after their mothers’ time in pris-on. These children are considered as Figures of Feeling based on existential, transcendental and simultaneous or alternative sense in order to improve their conditions of confinement . Since motherhood is possible and widely accepted in prison where to have committed a crime and not to behave as mother, let us to consider them as bad woman and mother. For these women being a mother again provides a positive identity in an unfavorable so-cial context of confinement. Based on current standards mother can be committed to parenting and supply their children needs scarifying their own ones since this duty did not have fulfilled in the past they wish to be as closer as possible to the aim called being mothers, convinced that when they get freedom can be able to get rid of that unfavorable adjectives (stigmas) and improve their con-ditions of confinement.eng
